Mock Hogs Invitational

On October 4th and 5th, Ole Miss Mock Trial sent a team of ten students to compete in the Mock Hogs Invitational at the University of Arkansas. The competitors were Amarie Moffett, Aidan Smith, Hannah Broders, McCloud Andrews, Ben Morrison, Emma Marreel, Sydney Chambliss, Avery Breedlove, Fatima Stafford, and Mary Ava O'Shea.

The team took 5th place overall at the tournament, and Emma Marreel took home an Outstanding Witness award with 17 ranks on the prosecution.

Chucky Mullins Invitational

On October 25th and 26th, our team hosted the 6th Annual Chucky Mullins Invitational, with our largest number of teams in attendance ever! Charles Conner served as our Tournament Director, Hannah Broders served as our Tabulations Coordinator, and Kaley LeCroy served as our Judges Coordinator. Ole Miss also had 2 teams attend: Team Red, coached by Executive Board members Amarie Moffett and McCloud Andrews, and Team Blue, coached by Board members Sydney Chambliss and Fatima Stafford.

Our Chucky Mullins Teams

We are proud to say that our new members worked incredibly hard to prepare for and perform at our home tournament. We could not be more impressed with their dedication!

Team Red had the following members: Aidan Smith, Caroline Croley, Trevor Hagel, Julia Maxick, Ena Durbin, Paolo Messina, Elianna Barger, Ann Charles Sutton, George Dew, and Amarie Mofett.

Team Blue: Mary Ava O'Shea, Maria Jose Barrera, Isabella Rodgers, JoAnna Watson, Jacob Johnson, Akayla Hughes, Arbor Lentz, and Charlotte Price.

We also had two students from Team Blue receive Outstanding Individual Awards! Maria Jose won an Outstanding Witness Award with 17 Ranks on the prosecution. Mary Ava won an Outstanding Attorney Award with a perfect 20 Ranks on the prosecution. We are so proud of them!

Grand Ole Tournament

On November 8th and 9th, one team went to compete at the Grand Ole Tournament, hosted by Vanderbilt University in Nashville Tennessee. Hosted in the Davidson County Courtrooms, our team had a wonderful experience!

The team consisted of Charlie Conner, Emma Marreel, Kaley LeCroy, Reese Aksamit, Caroline Croley, George Dew, Jordan Mack, Elianna Barger, Isabella Rogers, and Tyler Boecker.

Derek Morehead - Irene Downs Tournament

Hosted at the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law, Ole Miss sent two teams to compete the weekend of November 15th and 16th.

The Red Team, captained by Fatima Stafford and Avery Breedlove, comprised of Ben Morrison, Jacob Johnson, JoAnna Watson, Arbor Lentz, Charlotte Price, Akayla Hughes, and Cianna Phillips.

The Blue Team, captained by Sydney Chambliss and Amarie Moffett, included Elianna Barger, Ena Durbin, Julia Maxick, Paolo Messina, Maria Jose Barrera, and Aidan Smith.

Additionally, Sydney Chambliss won an Outstanding Attorney Award with 18 ranks on the Defense, And Paolo Messina won an Outstanding Witness Award for 16 ranks on the defense. Congratulations!
